Bhindi ki Sabzi

 

Ingredients:

  • Okra ½ kg, wash and drain, chop finely

  • Onions 4 medium, finely chopped

  • Red chillies ½ tbsp, crushed

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Turmeric ½ tsp

  • Lemon 3

  • Green chillies 3 chopped

  • Oil ½ cup

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Heat oil in a karahi and fry onions till golden brown. Add okra, red chillies, and turmeric and cumin seeds. Cook for a few minutes stirring frequently. Then cover and cook for five minutes. Sprinkle the juice of three lemons, green chillies and salt. Serve hot with puri.
