Fried Brinals

 

Ingredients:

  • Brinjals (round ones) ½ kg

  • Rice flour 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilies powder ½ tsp

  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp

  • Black pepper ½ tsp

  • Dalda or your choice of cooking oil 2 cups

Method:

  • Wash and slice brinjals. Spread out a newspaper and on it sifts rice flour, red chili powder, black pepper and salt. On a separate newspaper, spread a layer of sesame seeds. Coat each slice of brinjal with the rice flour mixture and then with the sesame seeds and deep fry in hot oil. Place them in a dish lined with absorbent paper and serve immediately.
